If she’s as big of a joni mitchell fan as the movie leads us to believe then she probably had all of joni mitchell’s albums already and he probably just bought her a duplicate of a cd she already owned. But he’s so uncaring about his own wife and her interests and passions that he doesn’t even realize that. He probably just picked up the first joni mitchell cd he saw in the music store at the mall and thought that made him the best husband in the world for remembering one thing about his wife’s interests and then went and waited for 3 hours as mr bean gift wrapped an expensive necklace for his uma thurman wannabe of a mistress
